Summer Technology Assistants

Qualifications:

• Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
• Technology background preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred
• Ability to climb a ladder preferred
• Knowledge of basic tools preferred

Compensation: $14.33 per hour

POSITION: IPS Summer Building Tech
4 Positions Available
LOCATION: Ionia Public Schools
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Valid State of Michigan Drivers’ License
2. Technology background useful
3. Ability to lift 50 lbs preferred
4. Ability to climb ladder preferred
5. Knowledge of basic tools preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Input devices into the new Follett Inventory System
2. Projector Filter Cleaning
3. Provide support for rooms needing tech equipment
moved and reinstalled due to maintenance
4. Enroll Chrome Devices, powerwash chromebooks
5. Remove outdated projectors, speakers, televisions and
wiring from classrooms
6. Install Software as needed
7. Assist with building-wide technology inventory
8. Assist with setup and support for summer school tech
needs
9. Support imaging and document shredding project
10. Clean teacher PC’s
11. Other duties as needed
COMPENSATION: $14.33 an hour
BEGINNING DATE: June 8, 2026 through August 14, 2026
