SUMMER 2023 PART-TIME COURIER INTERN

This position is part-time. Available hours 12- 30 hours per week. Start date: Post July 7th, 2023.

Experience a Summer out on Nantucket: (June 19th - August 20th 2022)

Pampr is seeking talented, entrepreneurial-spirited undergraduate students who are interested in building their skills at our fast-paced, early stage venture. This is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of business in a startup setting while getting to experience why so many people flock to Nantucket for their Summer vacations.

Our ideal candidates are driven, task/service oriented self starters and are eager to play a pivotal role in the growth of a blooming venture. Passion for excellence and hard work is a must.

Job Requirements:

• on-island housing accommodations
• available on Saturday’s (9am - 9pm) weekly
• valid driver's license and operational 4-door vehicle
• effective problem solving skills and the ability to apply them in the field
• accomplished task manager - you have an innate ability to multitask, executing on tasks in order of priority and after taking all components of the situation into account
• forward thinker - you consider the potential outcomes of your actions before deciding which course of action is best
• exceptional work ethic - you are driven by a sense of accomplishment and wake up motivated to succeed each day
• communication - you are an effective communicator with a positive attitude. Finding the right words to deescalate a situation comes naturally to you and you have the ability to deliver hard-to-hear information in the best way possible.
• You posses a day 1 mindset and are determined to always be learning and developing as an individual

Job Responsibilities: (Anticipate any of the following)

• Effectively communicating your availability when building out your weekly schedule with your operational leader
• Effectively communicating any conflicts that arise after weekly schedules have been assigned with you operation leader
• Always on-time and in uniform for when your shift begins
  
• Having all adequate promotional materials readily available in your vehicle while on call
• Maintaining constant communication between clients, fellow couriers and your operational leader
• Entering/leaving client homes securely when client is not present
• Participating in marketing & community engagement events
• Executing on all requests to the best of your ability, in an efficient, professional and timely manner
• Grocery shopping & delivery
• House siting
• Pet care
• Transportation
• CPG delivery
