Apply to this jobOur Kids Point Learning Center here at Turning Point Church is seeking to hire a FT substitute teacher to aid both our assistant and lead teachers. The substitute teacher will help to promote positive interactions, plan and organize activities, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements
Some of our preferred requirements are:
- At least 21 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous daycare experience in supporting children’s growth and development
- Have a good understanding of DECAL licensing requirements
- Have a genuinely caring and compassionate attitude when caring for children.
- Strong communication (oral & written) and listening skills to converse with children, parents, and other personnel.
- Willing to receive on-going training in compliance with center licensing
- A faithful believer in Jesus Christ; high moral character and values
