The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking two Student Workers to support the Undergraduate Research Committee for the upcoming school year. Under the supervision of the Director of Undergraduate Research, this person provides assistance to the Director of Undergraduate Research and the Undergraduate Research committee. The candidate will work up to 3 hours per week (on average, some weeks will be more and some weeks will be less) for 30 weeks and will complete various projects as needed.  Work schedule is designed to meet student needs with the exception of attending Undergraduate Research Committee meetings, and other related events, such as Undergraduate Research Day as assigned by the director. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take notes at Undergraduate Research Committee meetings

  • Maintain records

  • Assist in creating flyers and organizing materials for events

  • Make copies, file and scan materials

  • Assist the organization and facilitation of Undergraduate Research Day and Undergraduate Research Awards Dinner, attendance at these events is mandatory

  • Manage and maintain social media

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU

  • Detail orientated and ability to manage time and multiple projects

  • Students with Federal Work-Study may be prioritized

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
