ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

 

SUMMARY: The Cal Poly Pomona Foundation is currently seeking one undergraduate student assistants to support an Agriculture Research Project. This position will assist with one or more of the following activities: literature review, lab experimentation, data collection, analysis, and manuscript writing. The selected students will work under the supervision of Dr. Md Arif Iqbal in the Department of Apparel Merchandising and Management.

 

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

  • Literature review.
  • Lab experimentation.
  • Data collection, analysis, and manuscript writing.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current Cal Poly Pomona student in good standing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Majors in Apparel, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering are preferred.
  • Must demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in lab environments as part of research activities.

 

PREFERRED:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Major in Apparel, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
