The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a student employee to fill the role of an Athletics Audio Visual Assistant, for our Athletic Department located on campus. This position will work closely with our Athletic Teams, and film games and practices throughout the season.   The video will get uploaded into our conference mandated film exchange.  Along with film, this position will DJ athletic contests, including pre-game music as well as in-game and post-game music.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Film ALL HOME athletic Contests-Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Hockey Games
• Upload film to league mandated video exchange platform
• Manage pre-game music and in-game audio for all sports
• Assist with office work including music management, film breakdown, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU
• Work Study as part of their financial aid package
• Students with work study may be prioritized
• General knowledge of athletics
• Passion to learn new platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Indicate any qualifications that you would want the student to have, but they are not required to have for your job

Work Hours:

This role varies in hours dependent on athletic contests. Nights and weekends are required due to the nature of games and the schedules of teams.  Generally, hours range from 10-15 hours per week.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
