Structure Engineer

Midplaza Holding is looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating the structural elements of various construction projects. You will work closely with architects and other project team to ensure that designs are both safe and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovative design.

Responsibilities

• Developing structural designs and calculations for buildings, and other infrastructure projects to optimize materials, construction methods, and costs.
• Conducting site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborating with developer, contractors, architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to effectively integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
• Preparing detailed structural drawings and specifications.
• Supervise on-site structural implementation and verify quality of materials (concrete, steel, foundation).
• Analyzing project-related data to ensure safety and structural integrity.
• Identify potential structural risks (e.g., soil movement, seismic activity, additional loads) and provide safety solutions.
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings submitted by contractors for compliance with design documents.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
• Ensuring that all designs adhere to relevant building codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years experience in structural design, with prior experience in building, hotel, apartment, or similar.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode, BS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Strong knowledge of materials and construction methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willing to travel as necessary.
