Job brief

TSU would like to recruit Freelance Riot and Crowd control officers. Riot officers are required to deploy to any site in various parts of the country as requested by our clients. Officers will respond and work away from home most of the time

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid driver's license (advantageous)

• Own Transport (advantageous)

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level).

• Current PSIRA registration (Minimum Grade C)

• Security training certification (Grades)

• Riot training certificate or Tactical training certificate

• Crowd control/crowd management/public order management

• Full business SAPS firearm competency (Handgun/Shotgun/Carbine):

• Use and handle Handgun (advantageous)

• Use and handle Shotgun compulsory

• Use and handle Carbine (advantageous)

• Firearm statement of Results:

• Use and handle – Handgun

• Use and handle – Shotgun

• Use and handle - Carbine (If applicable)

• Valid regulation 21 certificate (If available)

• Pass physically fitness test regularly

• Bank account confirmation

• ID Document

• SARS Tax Number (If applicable)

• 2 years' experience (advantageous)

Skills and Competencies:

• Articulate and able to communicate on all levels - face to face, telephonically and e-mail

• Must be fluent in English and excellent writing skills.

• Planning & Organizational skills

• Customer care, client liaison and relationship building skills

• Excellent telephone etiquette

• Good report writing skills

• Excellent listening skills

• Be able to handle pressure and stay cool, calm and collective under stressful situations

General:

• RSA citizen

• Clear criminal record

Remuneration:
