Strategy & Planning DACH (M-F-D)

Description -

This role acts as a strategic advisor and operational integrator for the Vice President & Managing Director DACH.

The role drives DACH planning, orchestrates cross‑functional execution, leads transformation initiatives, enables leadership decision‑making, and together with the leadership team ensures operational discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Management

  • Coordinate the annual operational planning process for Germany, integrating inputs from categories, routes‑to‑market, hubs, and supporting functions.

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve the Germany Strategic Planning Playbook, ensuring alignment with the BMS ecosystem and financial reporting.

  • Coordinate and track HC and Budget adherence.

  • Prepare and orchestrate Executive Leadership Team (ELT), MD, and country review materials with strong insights, crisp storylines, and clear recommendations.

  • Provide analytical depth and data‑driven insights to evaluate business performance, risks, and opportunities and drive white‑space identification.

Cross‑Functional Program Leadership

  • Coordinate cross‑functional transformation projects (e.g., coverage, sustainability, organizational change, business continuity planning).

  • Collaborate closely with functional leaders to align decisions, track progress, and ensure high‑quality execution.

  • Engages in an drives local strategic activities to foster community and belonging.

  • Support driving simplification, standardization, and automation across the German & DACH GTM and operational processes.

Leadership Enablement & Governance

  • Structure and lead governance cycles, including Country Leadership Team meetings, business reviews, and strategic forums.

  • Coordinate country & hub communication strategy (newsletters, All Employee Meetings, leadership updates) together with PA and country teams.

  • Curate high‑impact content for interactions with market MD office and other stakeholders and for strategy reviews.

  • Develop long‑term relationship strategies with key internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, strategic function or related areas.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • Fluent in English on top of fluent German.
