What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will play a critical role for consulting engagements that range from business strategy, commercial model innovation, developing new business ventures and expanding our R&D footprint.  You will be expected to challenge the status quo, navigate complexity and ambiguity while leading your team to drive impact globally.  You will leverage industry knowledge to drive strategic thinking while partnering with our clients. 


As a Senior Director, you will manage project governance, project reviews, communications, trainings, certifications, and rewards. Your innovative ideas and creative decision-making will lead the strategic direction of your division. Your ability to leverage constructive relationships across divisions will help you maximize the resources available within the organization.  Your ability to exercise foresight and judgment in initiating, planning, organizing, and guiding complex projects in unprecedented situations will be critical to the achievement to the division.

How You Will Achieve It
• Lead strategic direction including business performance and financial management for highly complex activities within a division.
• Execute high-priority strategic design projects through opportunity assessment, business valuation, and implementation planning.
• Develop and maintain a systematic approach to consulting spend in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to prioritize which projects to internalize, and advise on better use of consulting resources and lowering external consulting spend.  
• Establish and foster a performance-based culture where project/portfolio delivery, execution, decision making, and process improvement are based on actionable metrics and a sound performance achievement methodology.
• Partner with stakeholders to execute group level meetings that may include development of annual Operational Performance, overall performance analysis and business review.
• Coordinate with business leads and Global Commercial Organization teams to define sales targets.
• Collect timely feedback on market trend and policy changes and incorporate into innovative model design.
• Coordinate with global/local functions to develop compliance standards and lead internal compliance projects.
• Build, update practice materials, including proprietary software, templates, and guidance documents.
• Consult with business experts and regulatory operations to drive strategies to improve processes and delivery through root cause analysis and appropriate application of performance data.
• Champion a work environment that encourages innovation and strong customer relationship management.
• Ensure an effective Talent Management process for talent identification, talent development and coaching, performance management and succession planning.


Qualifications
Must-Have
• Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of experience.
• 5+ years consulting experience required.
• People Management and talent development experience. 
• Strong leadership skills necessary to engage, influence and motivate colleagues at all levels, especially during periods of intense change.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-Have
• Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools.
• Detailed knowledge of either clinical trial or regulatory operational processes.
• Competent in dissembling complex problems, developing pragmatic solutions and providing guidance.
• Experience with designing, implementing and managing centralized reporting and analytics frameworks.
