Your Mission 🎯

As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with our engineering, operations, and global supply chain teams to enhance supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and ensure our supply chain meets Ultimaker’s high-quality standards.

Your Responsibilities 💪

🔹 Supply Chain & Procurement Strategy

• Work closely with US- and Netherlands-based engineering and operations teams to define short-term priorities and goals.
• Collaborate with global supply chain and procurement teams to support supplier identification, development, negotiation, and management.
• Develop a strategic and optimized sourcing roadmap to meet cost, quality, and performance standards.

🔹 Supplier Management & Quality Control

• Lead supplier partnerships and negotiate initial agreements with critical suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance, including cost, delivery, and quality metrics.
• Work with quality and design engineers to identify optimal technology, manufacturing methods, and quality control processes.
• Partner with our Shenzhen-based quality engineer for due diligence and site audits.

What We're Looking For 👤

✅ Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience in establishing and optimizing new supply chains.
• Strong hands-on manufacturing experience in consumer products.
• Expertise in contracts, price negotiations, and performance metrics.
• Ability to work with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the highest quality products.
• Willingness to travel to key manufacturing and supplier sites.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
