Role: Strategic Finance Manager  
Location: Remote 
Work Week: Sunday – Thursday
Work Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Saudi Arabian Time Zone)

Role & Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning & Forecasting

    • Build and maintain Soum’s annual operating budget and rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, updated weekly.

      • KPI Ownership & Reporting

      • Own KPI dashboards covering GMV, take rate, contribution margin, CAC, and payback period.

      • Publish weekly metrics with clear commentary.

        • Budgeting & Spend Management

        • Conduct monthly spend reviews across departments.

        • Identify budget variances and provide root-cause analysis.

          • Strategic Finance & Modeling

          • Model unit economics for new initiatives, pricing, and expansion opportunities.

          • Use AI tools for scenario analysis and present recommendations to the CFO.

            • Investor & Board Reporting

            • Prepare investor updates, board materials, and management presentations.

            • Maintain fundraising models with scenario and sensitivity analysis.

            • Support financing data room preparation.

              • Operational Finance & Leadership

              • Respond to ad hoc finance requests from the CFO and board.

              • Manage the Finance Analyst for reporting and dashboard maintenance.

              • Improve efficiency by reducing manual reporting through automation and tools.

Requirements:

    • Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.

    • Experience building dashboards and analyzing business KPIs.

    • Strong understanding of startup finance, budgeting, cash flow management, and operational metrics.

    • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment.

      • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.

      • Experience using automation, AI tools, or workflow optimization solutions is highly preferred.

Experience:

    • 3–5 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or startup finance.

    • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis.

    • Startup, marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce experience is preferred.
