Strategic Business Development and Launch Excellence Lead

Typical Accountabilities

Strategic Business Development Partner

• Lead end-to-end BD activities across public and private markets, from opportunity scouting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and partnership or licensing agreement formalization.
• Build and prioritize a strong opportunity pipeline aligned with therapeutic, commercial, and long-term business goals, while generating market intelligence to support portfolio and partnering decisions.
• Drive rigorous cross-functional execution by coordinating due diligence, financial assessment, governance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliant, high-quality deal delivery.

 

Launch Excellence

• Lead strategic product launches by coordinating cross-functional teams across medical, regulatory, market access, commercial, communications, and operations to ensure integrated execution.
• Drive disciplined launch planning through structured processes, clear milestones, defined ownership, progress tracking, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure organizational readiness.
• Align local and global launch strategy by adapting regional/global guidance to the Malaysia market while capturing post-launch learnings to continuously improve future launches

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in:

• Bachelor of degree, with at least 5 years’ experience in pharma marketing and sales management position

Possess:

• Proficient in oral and written English communication. Strong in Strategic partnership and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated success in launch excellence, project management, collaboration, and stakeholder influence.
• Proven track record of high performance in cross-functional engagement, and strong business acumen.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complexity and demonstrate a high degree of maturity.
• Marketing capabilities, data analytics, insight mining, collaboration, organizational ability, strategic mindset, negotiation, and project management
