1. Storage Administration of atleast one of the enterprise storage like VSP, XP24000 and DMX/VMAX.

2. Administration of mid-range storage like EVA, HUS, CX,VNX, Netapp, V7000.

3. Administration of BROCADE and CISCO SAN switches . Knowledge of Director class switches, NPIV.

4. Administration of NAS like Celerra,Netapp, Isilon & HNAS.

5. Knowledge of Celerra replication and DR.

6. Fundamentals of snapshots & checkpoints.

7. Sound knowledge of UNIX, Vmware & Windows with specific commands related to volume group and disks.

8. Knowledge of scripting.

9. Extensive knowledge of thin/dynamic provisioning.

10. Knowledge of dynamic storage tiering/FAST VP.

11. Knowledge on NAS archiving.

12. Knowledge on performance monitoring.

13. Knowledge on IOPS and disk drive types.
