Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Data Architect (8+ years) to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures powering AI/ML solutions. You will play a critical role in defining data strategies, enabling advanced analytics, ensuring governance, and optimizing infrastructure for AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures for AI/ML workloads.

• Define data strategy, governance, and frameworks for structured, semi/unstructured data.

• Architect scalable pipelines, warehouses, and lakehouses optimized for AI/ML.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into solutions.

• Ensure data security, compliance, lineage, and metadata management.

• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Guide teams on best practices for AI/ML data lifecycle integration.

• Stay ahead by evaluating emerging tools & technologies in the Data & AI ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with 3+ years as Data Architect (AI/ML focus).

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Hands-on experience with lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, BigQuery, Synapse).

• Proficiency in data pipeline frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, DBT).

• Strong knowledge of ML data lifecycle – feature engineering, versioning, pipelines, MLOps.

• Familiarity with data governance, security & compliance standards.

• Proficiency in SQL & Python with distributed data systems.

• Exposure to AI/ML platforms (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
