Job Description Summary

The Stator Bar Manufacturing Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs for the production team. This role ensures that all personnel are proficient in the complex processes associated with stator bar manufacturing, including copper cutting, striping, roebeling, forming, insulation application, curring, and rigorous quality testing. The goal is to maintain high production standards, improve process consistency, and ensure safety compliance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and update training modules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation for stator bar manufacturing.
  • Hands-on Training: Lead on-the-floor instruction for new hires and cross-train existing operators on specialized machinery and manual tasks.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Train staff on critical quality checkpoints, identifying defects, and adhering to strict engineering specifications.
  • Safety Leadership: Ensure all trainees understand and strictly follow all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols specific to high-voltage component manufacturing.
  • Skill Assessment: Conduct periodic performance evaluations and competency testing to certify operators for specific manufacturing steps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production managers to identify process bottlenecks and update training to reflect new technological improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in high-voltage generator components, specifically stator bar manufacturing, insulation systems.
  • Instructional Skills: Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; prior experience as a trainer or lead technician is highly preferred.
  • Quality Mindset: Deep knowledge of ISO standards, lean manufacturing principles, and root-cause analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document training outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
