PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coordinates, compiles, analyzes, and distributes accurate and timely information to prepare and file documents related to telephony regulatory matters and compliance functions.  

• Assists with preparation and filing of revisions to regulatory documents. 

• Prepares correspondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities. 

• Tests basic tax mapping scenarios within the CLA tax lab and/or client’s tax engines to ensure appropriate and expected tax results. 

• Supports testing and implementing systems and/or process changes to add increased efficiencies or conformance with tax rules. 

• Reviews jurisdiction laws pertaining to exemptions and validate forms provided by client’s customers to ensure good faith standards are met to indemnify client from tax liability. 

• Contributes to the development of requirements for new and existing client projects. 

• Understands and works to resolve general customer issues. 

• Participates in other operational and strategic projects or duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred. 

• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data. 

• Willingness to learn new technologies.  

• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products. 

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
