A career in our State and Local Tax Financial Services practice, within State and Local Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients solve their business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. You’ll help with assessing our client’s state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives to ensure that their filling positions are consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules.Our team helps our Financial Services clients transform risk and compliance related to state and local taxes into a business advantage by aligning their state tax plan with the business strategy. You’ll focus on issues related to abandoned and unclaimed property, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax, credits and incentives, and indirect tax.

The Opportunity
As part of the State and Local Tax Financial Services team you are set to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Manager you supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You play a visible role in cultivating meaningful client relationships, inspiring your team, and navigating ambiguity, while upholding PwC’s quality standards and contributing to the firm's purpose, principles, and broader business strategies.

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation
- 4 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
