Position Summary:
The position of Staffing Specialist supports the Sephora Distribution Center by engaging internal and external talent to support the staffing needs of operations. The dynamic person in this role will develop and maintain excellent community & industry relations, promote an excellent onboarding process, while exceeding the expectations of the hiring managers for all positions sourced.
Essential Functions of Job:
- Collaborates with the management team on roster management to help in forecasting headcount based on volume and backfill needs
- Serves as a company ambassador at partnerships schools and universities for building and maintaining relationships with faculty, administration, and student organizations
- Works closely with hiring managers to maintain accurate headcounts needs to volume
- Conducts phone screens and scheduling of interviews. May lead interviews when appropriate
- Track and analyze data to identify trends or staffing gaps and provide recommendations for innovative strategic advantages
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on candidates, hiring manager interactions, and all other recruiting activities to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate and communicate staffing needs with external partnerships as required
- Increase awareness and establish accountabilities to hire/advance underrepresented candidates, to include: collecting, updating, analyzing and presenting diversity metrics, engaging senior level champions, and gaining commitment to participate in diversity recruitment and engagement initiatives
- Own the development, analysis, and measurement of a high-volume staffing program with key metrics and objectives
- Provide general HR support as required
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience in the staffing field or talent acquisition and recruitment with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or certification in the areas of talent acquisition & recruitment with 2-3 years’ experience preferred
- Experience developing and delivering communications to various audience levels within the organization
- Demonstrable depth of expertise and understanding of talent acquisition principles
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors
What You’ll Get:
The target hourly pay for this position is $27.29 - $30.50. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, including starting wages competitive to the market for similar roles; relevant qualifications and experience; and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position and/or geographic location. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
