Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Owner for the cost down and cost avoidance activities for PSS PS products to ensure long term outstanding cost position
• Perform a complete analysis / verification of newly designed products to ensure manufacturability
• Take charge of the yield stabilization / optimization during ramp-up and production, yield monitoring of running production and triggering OP for Yield Improvement measures if needed
• Act as project owner for respective yield improvement projects
• Lead problem solving teams in case of customer rejects and production problems
• Lead focus teams / 8Ds to address and fix products or manufacturing issues
• Owner and driver of the manufacturing strategy in alignment with Product Lines, OP leaders and PSS board to enable flexibility, maximize resilience and minimize CAPEX
• Act as PJO for technology transfer projects or PJM for product transfer projects
• Full responsibility for scope, budget / resources and results in a project team
• Development and implementation of new methods / tools for product analysis to ensure successful safe launches and smooth ramp up to high volume

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Gained at least 3-5 years of professional experience within the semiconductor and system manufacturing industry or in Supply Chain Management
• Achieved a degree in Engineering, Physics or a comparable program and have sound knowledge of IC processes and product designs or power technologies
• Obtained in-depth knowledge of Frontend and Backend processes including a deep understanding of manufacturing requirements and production strategy
• Understanding of processes in neighboring departments where there are regular interfaces (PE, foundries, subcontractors, QM, PMG, R&D, OP,RCM,...), knowledge of relevant economic factors
• Are experienced in managing high profile projects and leading high complexity project teams
• Experienced with the 8D problem solving method, taskforce / focus teams
• High affinity to number crunching, experienced with handling data and statistics
• SQL database programming would be an added plus, very good EXCEL skills a “must have”
