Staff Specialist Operations Planning & Controlling

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Manage manufacturing and/or production operations, including assembly, machinery, processing, and/or packaging
• Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand
• Ensure maximum production quantity and quality by optimizing production processes and resources
• Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, quality, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and implement changes
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure production operations are within budget and meet business objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Graduate of Engineering or any business-related course (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration)
• Minimum 5 years of planning, coordination, and scheduling production experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Effective writing and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, with good knowledge of logistics, business process, and relevant IT tools (e.g., SAP, Workstream)
• Customer-oriented, with a good understanding of Supply Chain process, inventory control, and management
• Good level of pro-activeness, with the ability to handle subordinate to management discussions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of production staff
