Responsibilities
- Drive value for our flagship Super Chat product (over $100M ARR) and our growing virtual-currency business, Gifts, through engaging interactive features.
- Define and execute a multi-quarter technical roadmap for PDG's interactive features.
- Expand Gifts from vertical video into horizontal formats, and collaborate with product teams to set technical strategies for YouTube TV.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
