Job description

The primary purpose of this role is to spearhead the resolution of complex issues in support of Renesas test manufacturing across various OSAT sites. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing quality, yield, cost, productivity, and manufacturing processes. Additionally, the role is responsible for successfully implementing applicable company, departmental, and team goals both internally and throughout external OSAT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage NPI to HVM transitions and line sustaining to prevent Test Operations delays.
  • Support HVM operations to meet performance metrics like Yield, UPH, and OEE.
  • Drive CIP and automation to maximize equipment, manufacturing efficiency, and quality.
  • Own problem resolution for all Test and Post-Test quality incursions.
  • Serve as technical representative for supplier and Renesas end-customer audits.
  • Core Test Operations: Excellent knowledge of Test Manufacturing Operations.
  • Hardware & Debugging: Experience, knowledge, and debugging skills in IC testing systems and equipment (ATE, Test Sockets, DUT boards, Probe Cards, Probers, Handlers).
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving ability using 8D, Why-Why Analysis, and resolving process/manufacturing challenges.
  • Soft Skills & Management: Good interpersonal skills, supplier management, and teamwork.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Communication: Good communication and written skills in the English language

Good to have

  • Programming Flexibility: Basic programming knowledge of Teradyne Flex, Advantest V93K, Teradyne J750, ASL1K, V50, and all other platforms (knowledge of one or two is a must, while knowing all listed platforms is a plus).
  • Data Analytics: Statistical and data analysis knowledge.
