Staff Engineer Technology Development

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Plan, design, perform and evaluate process experiments for new power technologies (including DoEs), such as Si freewheeling Diodes and SiCMOSFETs
• Take responsibility for the definition of required unit processes for the technologies including process stability assessments
• Joint technology development with partner frontend sites in Europe
• Proactively collaborate with R&D partners in all divisions, frontend &backend, unit process development and process integration
• Take responsibility for the entire process chain (process of records) from the bare substrate until the diced and measured die
• Develop and characterize new process control structures and test structures for electrical measurement to ensure stable production
• Coordinate physical/chemical/electrical analysis to gain deeper understanding of potential failure modes within the technology

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
• Several years of working experience in semiconductor industry (ideally R&D background or process integration, WBG expertise preferred)
• A solid technical background and expertise on semiconductor technologies, frontend or backend processing and integration
• Practical experience in performing electrical measurements with power device analyzer/curve tracer and wafer probe stations as a plus
• Programming skills (Python, Mat Lab, etc.) as a plus
• Project management experience as a plus
• Fluent English skills
