Job Description
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who brings deep technical expertise and architectural insight to help shape the future of our platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable, high-performing software solutions. You’ll collaborate directly with developers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to understand real-world needs—and you won’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves to solve tough technical problems. What You'll Do
Drive the architecture, design, and development of robust software solutions using primarily .NET, along with JavaScript, React, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple engineering teams—balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability and maintainability.
Serve as a trusted engineering partner to product and customer support teams by translating business needs into technical plans.
Influence and contribute to our overall technical strategy and roadmap.
Lead design reviews, code reviews, and mentor engineers in best practices around software design and delivery.
Collaborate with peers to continuously improve our SDLC, tooling, and development standards.
Stay hands-on with coding and problem-solving—especially when addressing complex issues or system-critical components.
Help anticipate technical bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
7+ years of experience building web applications, with a strong emphasis on .NET development (C#, .NET Core preferred).
Experience designing and implementing application architecture and system integrations.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS).
Expertise in working with SQL Server and designing data models for performance and scale.
Comfortable operating within Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD practices.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a “customer-first” mindset.
A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring, sharing knowledge, and fostering a positive engineering culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in SaaS or multi-tenant environments.
Experience in modern DevOps practices and tools.
Exposure to microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
Additional Information
While we've outlined some key qualities we typically seek, it's essential to remember that there might be additional unique strengths and talents you possess that would make you an exceptional match for us, even if they're not explicitly mentioned. Studies have consistently highlighted the significance of this principle, particularly for individuals from disenfranchised backgrounds, including women and other marginalized groups. These individuals often hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement, unlike their male counterparts who are more inclined to apply when they meet around 60% of the criteria.
The message we want to convey is that taking a leap of faith and applying can be incredibly rewarding. Your distinct abilities and perspectives could be exactly what we need to create a more diverse and inclusive team. So, don't hesitate—apply today and let's explore the exciting possibilities together!
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
