Staff Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for optimizing the stability and performance of our automation systems and equipment, driving root-cause analysis, and developing data-driven solutions to overcome daily challenges. Your expertise will enable us to achieve target utilization and uptime, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Responsible for manufacturing Automation System and Equipment's Stability and Performance Improvement

• Perform root-cause analysis and drive equipment improvements to achieve target utilization & uptime

• Conduct data analysis and develop data driven solutions to resolve daily challenges and improve operation performance

• Manage system and equipment's preventive maintenance program

• Support cross functional projects through PoC to production roll-out to enable advanced automation into operation

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering/related fields
• 3-5 years working experience in Robotics/manufacturing automationsystems/equipment
• Hands on experience in robotic, autonomous mobile robot and automation systems is highly preferred
• Knowledge in programming, preferably Python to analyze data will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in Data visualization tool, e.g. Tableau is preferred
• Experience in cross-functional projects collaboration will be an advantage
• A self-driven individual with strong analytical ability &problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently yet a strong team player in a global setup
