As a collaborative and driven professional, the Sr. Talent Development Partner is responsible for the strategic talent development program management of their assigned Business Functions. This role requires a strategic mindset to help business partners meet their Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) through the design and development of engaging and impactful multi-modal learning and performance solutions. The Sr. Talent Development Partner will lead initiatives that align with business strategies, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate with HR Strategic Business Partners and senior leaders to identify and prioritize learning needs, conduct skills assessments, and recommend learning solutions to address knowledge gaps and performance-related challenges. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with all PCC teams to understand business goals, prioritize tasks, and ensure content accuracy and quality.
- Curriculum Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive learning programs, including eLearning courses, virtual and traditional instructor-led training, performance support tools, and other educational materials. Align curriculum development projects with business goals and software release cycles. Utilize advanced instructional design principles and methodologies to create impactful learning experiences. Develop storyboards, scripts, and other related materials to ensure high engagement and effectiveness. Leverage a wide variety of educational technologies and tools to develop and deliver learning solutions. Stay current with industry trends and innovations to ensure learning offerings remain engaging and effective.
- Project Management:
- Independently manage projects through the entire instructional design life cycle to complete project deliverables within planned scope, quality, and timelines.
- Lead larger instructional design projects involving multiple team members and stakeholders
- Custom Off-Sites and Workshops:
- Plan and execute custom off-sites, workshops, and other learning events to support team building, strategic planning, and leadership development.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor key learning metrics on quality, customer satisfaction, and impact, and enhance education for continuous improvement.
- Recommend and coordinate updates to existing learning materials for continuous improvement of course content and program delivery techniques.
- Continually build a knowledge base of current and future technology trends, industry standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced analytical, collaboration, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Advanced skills in multi-tasking, priority setting, organization, risk management, project planning, and project management.
- Advanced skills in applying a holistic view to performance problems, identifying root causes, and recommending learning solutions as required.
- Demonstrated experience with both the instructional design and development of multi-channel (i.e., facilitator-led, eLearning, virtual synchronous or asynchronous, role plays, simulations, games, videos, job aid, blended, other digital) solutions in alignment with adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced visual design skills.
- 10+ years' experience in adult learning, instructional design, and development of interactive, blended learning solutions.
- CTDP Certification, CPTD certification, Learning Guild membership or equivalent
- University degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, Educational Technologies, or related field.
Compensation (from employer):
88000–98000 CAD per year
