Meet the team:

The Business Transformation Project Management team is comprised of diverse, collaborative and results-driven program and project managers.  A key part of the Global Business Services function of Dexcom, the delivers value to customers and internal stakeholders through the delivery of programs and projects that support the execution of strategy at a global, regional or functional level.

Where you come in:

• You will drive the successful delivery of multiple digital programs and projects, from initiation to completion.
• You will develop and implement frameworks and strategies for successfully managing the organization’s portfolio, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategy related to Global Business Services and Commercial functions.
• You will bring leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring the effective execution of programs and projects, including program/project deliverables and timelines.
• You strategize and collaborate with stakeholders, identifying and managing risks, developing mitigation plans, monitoring program and project status, and communicating the business impact of these programs and projects effectively.
• You manage project budget and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of resources.
• You will coach/mentor project managers and support our project manager development program.

What makes you successful:

• You have a university degree in a relevant field (IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Management); advanced degree or certifications in project management preferred.
• You have proven experience in senior leadership roles overseeing PMO functions.  
• You possess in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and relevant frameworks/processes are preferred (e.g. product development, product commercialization, software development life cycle, quality assurance processes, transition/outsourcing)
• You exhibit interpersonal, team building, and communication skills, showcasing executive presence with demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Your skills in concept development, presentation and facilitation contribute to successful program and project outcomes.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an agile mindset. 
• You have a logical and efficient approach, coupled with keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in your work.
• You can successfully balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks under pressure that reflect sound decision-making skills.
• You can build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
• You have a customer service-oriented approach and committed to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
• You are comfortable in using project management tools and software (e.g. Asana).

Travel Required:

• 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:

•  Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience. 
• At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
