Sr. Staff Engineer

The candidate will be expected to work on identifying new opportunities to apply ML, exploring advanced ML solution techniques, developing/testing/tuning ML algorithms, and writing/deploying/supporting production-ready software to design teams.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Primary responsibilities include R&D on Machine Learning approaches to problems in the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) to improve the Infineon internal R&D process.
• It involves advancing the state-of-the-art ML applications & platform to change the way analog and mixed-signal circuits/systems are designed, by solving many challenging problems to reduce long-loop iterations in the design flow.
• Candidate must have the ability to interact with a worldwide cross-functional team & domain experts and collaborate productively is a necessity.
• A strong software engineering background is mandatory with emphasis on Python, Unix-based development, Cloud-application creation, as well as some experience with C/C++ or another Object-Oriented language.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's / Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience working on Machine Learning, DeepLearning and optimization algorithms
• Hands-on experience running deep learning models on popular frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and other similar.
• Hands-on experience designing large scale inference, recommendation interactive agents’ system.
• Hands-on experience on large language model-based GenAI systems
• Hands-on experience on MLOPs practices
• Experience on Bigdata tools like Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Druid etc. Understanding of the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Domain concepts like circuit designing, placement, routing, layout etc.
