Sr. QA Mobile QA Engineer

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

As a Quality Engineer you are responsible for creating test plans for new features and releases, testing features as soon as developers have them ready, verifying bug fixes and performing regression testing on releases. You work with the SDETs who write the test automation framework for mobile testing to ensure we have good automation coverage and you optionally participate in writing automated tests.

You work closely with the developers for the mobile app development scrum team, doing your test planning concurrently with new features being developed in true agile fashion.

Our team is based in San Francisco and San Mateo, with a growing teams in Bangalore, India and Manila, Philippines.

Responsibilities

● Responsible for new feature testing and bug fix verification for mobile application.

● Write clear and detailed bug reports, participate in bug discussions and follow them to resolution.

● Write clear test cases, test plans and documentation.

● Work in an agile rapid development environment where effective communication is paramount.

● BSc in CS, EE or equivalent experience required.

● 4+ years of experience in software testing of web or mobile applications.

● Experience in testing of mobile applications, preferably on both iOS and Android.

● Clear communication (both verbal and written English) is a must.

Bonus Points For

● Programming skills in any language (Java, C# or other OO language preferred).

● Experience in Selenium or Appium test automation.

● Experience in CRM, Force.com and the Salesforce1 platform.
