DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Sr Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll guide initiatives that drive business transformation and operational excellence. In this role, you'll oversee complex, cross-functional projects from inception through delivery, focusing on transitions, process improvements, system implementations, and change management programs. Working with stakeholders across our organization, you'll support portfolio goals while building and developing teams. Your experience will contribute to implementing best practices, fostering innovation, and promoting continuous improvement aligned with our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience managing complex programs and project initiatives
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Engineering, Science or related field
• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) highly desirable
• 2+ years of people management experience leading cross-functional teams
• Project management capabilities with expertise in standard methodologies and tools
• Stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Experience in process improvement and change management
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans while managing multiple priorities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with agile project management practices
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• Financial acumen and budget management experience
• Ability to influence in a matrix environment
• Experience in presenting to and engaging with leadership
• Facilitation and negotiation skills
• Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required
• Industry-specific experience (pharmaceutical, biotech, or scientific instruments) preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$135,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
