Sr. Project Engineer - Offshore

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with proven expertise in offshore oil & gas projects, particularly brownfield modifications and interface management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth coordination across multiple stakeholders while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering and project execution activities for offshore brownfield projects.
• Coordinate and monitor multidisciplinary engineering interfaces between stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with project scope, technical specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Drive effective interface management across all project phases, ensuring seamless integration between existing facilities and new modifications.
• Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, especially related to offshore execution and brownfield constraints.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Mandatory experience in offshore projects, particularly brownfield developments.
• Demonstrated experience in interface management across complex projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore execution challenges, modification work, and tie-ins.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within schedule and budget.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Familiarity with major operator standards
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Preference will be given to Saudi nationals.
