Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The Thermal Designer will be responsible for developing all aspects of the thermal design and packaging of selected products.
2. Make mechanical design more precisely before sampling or tooling, directly communicate with vendors to improve design in advance
3. Execute design changes, cost reductions, manufacturing methods improvements.
4. Solve thermal and DFM issue.
5. Design liquid-cooled PSU
6. Thermal design and Mechanical design review for new and existent projects
7. Thermal simulation, and improvement for new and existent projects
8. Mechanical simulation and design improvements.
9. Propose conceptual design packaging and mechanical
10. Design/thermal simulation to be included in technical proposal

Qualifications:

1. 7+ years' experience in engineering role or related experience
2. 7+ years 3-D solid modeling and drafting experience in Creo
3. Experience in thermal simulation tool (FloTHERM, XT or Icepak)
4. Analytical and problem solving skills
5. Liquid cooling skills
