10+ years professional experience as it relates to manufacturing operations, manufacturing/process engineering, systems engineering and/or automation engineering
•Experience managing technical teams of 5+ employees
•Experience in project management, preferably, as it relates to automation development and deployment, including MS Project schedule development, and financial measures/metrics
•Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and Return on Investment analyses
•Proven leadership skills, especially in managing dotted line relationships across multiple disciplines
•Ability to lead/manage engineers and technical trades on project teams
•Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to interact positively and collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization
•Ability to work independently and pro-actively
•Proven leadership, problem solving and team building skills
•Sense of business urgency and drive
•Ability to prioritize during haze of confusion and/or conflicting goals
•Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•Familiarity with Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory concepts, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
•Demonstrated mentoring experience
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must be a US Citizen as the position will require the ability to access US only Data Systems

Experience with automation systems engineering and integration in the manufacturing industry
•Experience with Transition to Production
•Strong project management and project planning experience/knowledge with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion
•Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts, tool sets, and requirements generation
•Experience with mechanisms, controls, robotics, vision systems and/or automation in general
•Understanding of radar systems manufacturing
•Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls/distributed control systems and software engineering terms and principals
•Demonstrated technical background with an understanding or hands-on experience in software, firmware, and electronics development
•First-hand experience from driving Change Management projects and track record of being able to deliver results
•Experience working with Agile/Scrum practices
•Understanding of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems
•Experience with PLCs, MTConnect, and/or Transactional Automation (use of API, XML)
