Job Title: Sr. Manager, Apparel Merchandising - Global HOKA

Reports to:  Director of Apparel, Global Merchandising


Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday – Thursday

The Role

As the Sr. Manager, Apparel Merchandising for Global HOKA, you will lead and execute HOKA's seasonal directives and key initiatives across the global marketplace, including both DTC and Wholesale channels. Your scope covers end-to-end product line architecture, price tiering, franchise management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive brand priorities. You'll partner with Brand Planning and Merchandising leadership to build detailed product plans, meet fiscal targets, and guide seasonal handoffs for regional partners.

Your Impact

  • Develop seasonal product line plans that align with financial targets and key performance indicators, ensuring initiatives are executed in accordance with Brand Planning guidelines
  • Build seasonal assortments that drive annual sales volume and support HOKA's growth and market share objectives
  • Define category distribution and segmentation strategies across global markets to maximize product reach and availability
  • Champion a consumer-first, omni-channel approach, ensuring assortments meet consumer needs across all channels and touchpoints
  • Gather and incorporate consumer insights, regional trends, and channel-specific needs into global and regional planning processes
  • Maintain ongoing feedback loops with Product and Demand Creation teams, leveraging marketplace performance and business results to inform future opportunities
  • Create product assortments that align with key business metrics, brand priorities, and competitive opportunities
  • Drive category growth and segmentation strategies that support both short- and long-term business objectives
  • Stay current on industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to inform merchandising strategies and recommendations
  • Serve as a key liaison between Global Product, Brand Planning, Regional Merchandising, Brand, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Leverage data and insights to influence decision-making, build consensus, and align stakeholders around key priorities
  • Prioritize and manage multiple seasons simultaneously, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with broader business strategy

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, sales, or a combination thereof, with experience supporting both DTC and Wholesale channels
  • Strong merchandising experience in the performance, athletic, outdoor, or consumer products industry
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across a matrixed organization
  • Focused decision-making guided by brand integrity and company values
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Self-motivated with sound judgment and confident decision-making skills
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and how merchandising decisions impact business performance
  • Willing and able to travel 10-15% annually
