Sr. Java Developer (Local Chinese Preferred)

The incumbent is responsible

to design and develop software solutions for manual and automated

warehousing operations in support of the company’s complete products

portfolio, in accordance with Company concepts and standards, processes

and guidelines. He shall undertake the delivery of a defined part of a

project, including design, implementation, testing, integration

adherence to all the relevant SW standards and act to improve the

project benefit. As a Senior Java Developer, he/she should be more

independent in task execution and problem solving in technical issues.

● Participate in analysis and software requirement gathering.
● Development and testing of WMS system and application software.
● Participate in commissioning and testing of the WMS at various sites.
● Create design specification according to requirement specification.
● Implement the solution according to design specification
● Create and enhance test plan, test cases and release note.
● Assist in setup, configuration and rules according to requirement.
● Understanding of customer’s working practices and requirements.
● Ensuring quality of work through project life cycle.
● Identify cause of bug and apply fixes.
● Ensure the project is implemented successfully within schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
● At least 2 years’ experience in Web development using Java programming language.
● Working experience in JEE 7, JPA / EJB 3.1 / Hibernate, REST API, Microservices and Spring Boot, HTML5, Angular JS
● Databases: SQL Server, Oracle
● Experience in Oracle Weblogic, Wildfly, Maven, Eclipse IDE, Jenkins CI is added advantage.
● Understanding of real time programming, relational database concepts and architecture
● Strong hands on development skills and problem-solving skills.
● Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
● An active team player and customer focus.
● Able to adhere to priorities and meet tight dateline.
● Prior work experience in Warehousing / ERP is an added advantage. Willing to travel overseas.
