Sr. Integrated Molded Inductor Design Engineer

Summary:

This position reports to MAG Sr. Project Manager ; is accountable for the MAG integrated molded inductor design.

Essential duties and responsibilities : include the following, other duties may be assigned:

1. Participate in project feasibility study, participate in project design.
2. Responsible for the design of integrated molded inductor’s appearance, structure, components and so on according to the design requirements.
3. Evaluate and verify the feasibility and reliability of the product's design and development, and organize and review technical documents related to new product design (such as customer specification document, FMEA, etc.)
4. Participate in the evaluation of new product parts, mold review and trial production & tooling acceptance.
5. Organize and coordinate the trial production of new products and sample submission to the customer,

and provide technical support for product applications to the Marketing Department and customers.

Qualification :

1. Be familiar with the relevant characteristics of magnetic materials and have experience in the design of the integrated molded inductor.
2. Master the relevant knowledge of materials, processes, designs and application fields of the integrated molded inductors, and understand the basic knowledge of electronic circuits.
3. Understand industry standards and be proficient in using simulation tools for inductor design and optimization.
4. Good command of English, Proficient in Office, CAD and other office software.
5. Better is familiar with TS16949 Quality System and with the practical experience of implementing APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Quality Control plan

   Education and /or experience

   Bachelor degree or above，science and engineering majors related to electronics, magnetic materials and powder metallurgy.

   More than 3 years related working experience (integrated molded inductor design)

    

   LANGUAGE SKILLS

   Good command of English in written skills and  basic oral English ability

   Be able to read and interpret documents such as customer/supplier requirements. 

   Be able to effectively present information and respond to customer/supplier inquiries.
