Sr. Industrial Engineer

About the Role

In this role you will support our distribution centers through a diversified approach of engineering principles and practices to successfully maximize productivity, quality, and service. You will need to Try Fast, Learn Fast, Think Big by leveraging engineering techniques to establish methods for maximizing optimization with a focus on continuous improvement that positively impacts our business and customers.

What You'll Do

• Identify and drive process improvement through consistent analysis methods and standards, identify best practices, benchmarks and areas for improvement to balance cost, service and productivity

• Implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, by educating and influencing operational leaders to improve performance metrics

• Research industry best practices and prepare projects to implement best practices as they apply throughout the distribution center

• Establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business partners including internal/external customers through education and influence to improve performance metrics

• Facilitates the resolution of issues, and works with customers and/or team members to develop plans to meet or exceed business objectives

• Manage projects and program execution within area of specialty and ensures quality of work

• Assist the Engineering Manager in driving business results, executing product and program strategies and creating a world class customer service.

Who You Are

• Technical knowledge of distribution operations, process flow analysis, network modeling, DC design and material handling systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions

• Ability to drive results through data analysis

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict timelines
