Job Description:

  • Work with cross functional teams to qualify alternate battery cells, electronic modules and other components-based battery packs along with second source development for subcomponents.
  • Provide ongoing technical platform support for existing battery products, implement design changes.
  • Identify and lead value initiatives (VI’s) associated with the product line.
  • Expected to utilize lab test equipment such as data collection equipment, power supply and electronic load to conduct testing.  
  • Employ Design of Experiments and other scientific methods to develop/qualify processes.  
  • Perform Routine Production Line audits – Travel required.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis resulting from manufacturing issues or post sales feedback.    
  • Monitor and track warranty rates and concerns.

Job requirements:

  • Above 5 year’s work experience in product design. Mechanical major with bachelor’s degree.
  • Have design experience of mechanical part, family with the 3D and 2D drawing software.
  • Familiar with design criteria of mechanical parts. And related manufactory process. Plastic parts, stamping parts. PCBA.
  • Familiar with performance and manufacturing process of lithium battery pack, cell, BMS.
  • Have experience of product developing. Conduct related work, drive project from design to mass production.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks ups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skill, plus English reading and writing ability.
  • Strong project mange skills.
  • Good self-driving ability and self-management.
