General Summary
This position is responsible for determining customer credit limits, resolve credit issues, reconciles accounts and prepares credit limit analysis for the North American wholesale business. This role will report directly to the Accounting Operations Director and work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, dealer services and other finance team members to proactively identify and resolve issues and manage risk in the credit and collections process. What You’ll Do:
- Establish and maintain strong working relations with the sales team, dealer services and external customers
- Review new credit applications to determine credit limits and conditions of the sales. Utilize tools such D&B, Reimer and SIC.
- Assess and process all on hold sales orders
- Evaluate the credit limits of existing customers and propose changes based on credit worthiness and financial health
- Work with past due customers to determine payment plans and manage the customer risks
- Work closely with dealer services and sales team to manage credit holds and past due balances
- Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures and assists in creation and implementation of policies and procedures, as needed
- Participate in the ERP implementation and future maintenance/enhancement
- Participate in cross-org collaborative projects and problem solving
- Monthly meeting facilitation and periodic reporting as required
- Lead/assist with ad hoc projects as required
- Payment Portal support functions and cash application tasks

Experience You Bring:
- 2 – 5 years prior experience in an Accounts Receivable role performing credit and collections activities
- Experience in the apparel industry with a focus on the wholesale business a plus.
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Dynamics 65, Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, Power query, or similar systems.
- Success in a fast-paced, high demand environment. Achieving success with limited resources and small teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, business, economics, data analytics, or other related field is preferred (equivalent additional work experience may satisfy this requirement).
Hiring Range: $70,000 to $80,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget. Note the full pay range for this role ranges from $64,800 to $97,200 USD Annual. The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.
