What You’ll Do

In this role as a Cloud Backend DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in managing existing cloud services, ensuring their continuous availability and performance. This includes proactively managing service updates, identifying areas for improvement or consolidation, and resolving any issues that may impact stability. Additionally, you will develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, applying automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to ensure a resilient and highly available system.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

·         Solid knowledge of at least one programming language (we work with Golang, Python, C/C++, Rust).

·         Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.

·         Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance.

·         Willingness to work in a fast-paced, Agile, and DevOps-driven environment.

·         Strong observability engineering skills: proficiency with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent.
·         Demonstrated experience adopting AI tools to improve development or operations.

What other Traits that would be beneficial

·         Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native technologies.

·         Understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements.
