Job Description

The FVT Squad Delivery Manager drives the day-to-day delivery of a single campaign / enabling services squad - managing the squad's execution of committed release plans and customer engagement campaigns, facilitating the squad's agile events and cadences, tracking squad metrics and milestones, managing impediments and dependencies, and working with the Services Delivery Lead to keep the squad's releases synchronized with the broader campaign train.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the day-to-day execution of the squad - manage the squad's delivery of committed release plans, campaigns and enabling services; report on squad metrics and milestones; surface impediments and dependencies early, resolving within the squad and escalating cross-squad items to the Services Delivery Lead.

Champion agile ways of working within the squad - facilitate the squad's agile events (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives) and drive continuous improvement, operationalizing what works well for the squad given the nature of its work.

Manage the squad's release plan and cadence - translate quarterly Big Room Planning commitments into executable sprint/kanban plans with the Product Owner, prepare the squad's capacity and inputs for BRP, and keep delivery on track with manageable deviations.

Coordinate the squad's dependencies - align build timings with other squads, platform teams and enabling partners to proactively address dependencies and minimize delays in campaign releases, improving execution cycle time.

Track and optimize squad delivery efficiency - monitor cycle time and kanban build time; identify efficiencies and cost/benefit optimizations in the development and iteration of the squad's campaigns and services.

Support cross-functional collaboration - work with SMEs, vendors and partner teams on execution of the squad's campaigns/programs, recommending effective ways to synchronize releases and address interdependencies.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience: 3-5 years in Project Mgt & IT Delivery; Skills & Level of Knowledge: Agile Delivery (Scrum/Kanban), Project Mgt; Education: College Graduate in IS/IE, Eng'g or Business
