SQL Server DBA/Architect (503483216)

IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT-to-HIRE position available immediately for a SQL Server DBA Architect  to join our customer in Dallas, TX. This is an ONSITE position. This is a W2 role and we will not be able to work with 3rd party candidates on this.

Maintain, backup / restore, and monitor any and all SQL Server 2008/2012 environments. 
- Help define database back-up & recovery strategy including archiving strategies. 
- Support SQL Server deployments/ migrations. 
- Analyze security and document recommendations. 
- Analyze/ troubleshoot performance issues. 
- Analyze performance and document recommendations. 
- Perform refreshes,clones, apply patches and upgrades. 
- Automate scripts such as backups, database checks, update statistics, index rebuilds.

 Excellent Communication skills. 
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA/ Database Architect. 
- Good experience in SQL Server Clustering and Replication.
- Solid experience working with EMC Storage devices.
- Good experience working with CISCO Networking Devices.
- Experience installing SQL Server Database on Windows 2008. 
- T-SQL 
- SQL Server 2008 R2/ 2012 
- Windows 2008
