Speech-Language Pathologist (In-Person) – Wylie, TX

What You’ll Do

In this fully in-person position, you’ll work on-site in schools to provide speech and language services directly to students. You’ll play a key role in supporting students’ communication skills and academic progress, while collaborating closely with school teams and families.

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services in-person to students across grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Complete required documentation including IEPs, Medicaid billing, and progress reports
• Provide consultative support to school staff and caregivers

Requirements

To apply, you should have:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - required
• Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• At least 2 years of school-based experience
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Full-time availability for the 2025–2026 school year
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Experience with Special Education Case Management and IEP development

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Medicaid billing
• Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt in a school-based environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
