Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to residents with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to maximize resident outcomes

• Document progress and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines

• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and care techniques

Qualifications

• Current California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for caring for seniors and supporting their rehabilitation journey

• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
