A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Specialist Visceral Surgeon to provide high-quality surgical care for patients with diseases of the abdominal organs and gastrointestinal tract. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage elective and emergency surgical conditions, perform advanced open and minimally invasive procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care. The specialist will also participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of a recognized Residency/Board Certification or Specialist Qualification in Visceral Surgery or General Surgery with a subspecialty in Visceral Surgery.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialty experience preferred.
• Expertise in upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, pancreatic surgery, hernia repair, colorectal surgery, and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures.
• Experience in emergency abdominal surgery is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous medical education.
