Summary:

Soaring Heights School is currently hiring teachers for students in need of special education programming. Design and implement effective behavioral management plans in all educational settings, organize and implement effective classroom delivery of service and collaboration with education and therapeutic staff are required.

Responsibilities:

  • The Teacher will conduct special education programming to students who have been identified as needing special education programming by their IEP and who attend the education program through Pyramid Healthcare
  • Design and implement effective behavioral management plans in all educational settings
  • Organize and implement effective classroom delivery of service
  • Work with all staff (education & therapeutic) for effective implementation of all special education requirements
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, phone contacts & record keeping
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Respond to emergency situation

Certification (Preferred):

  • PA Teaching Certification

Education (Preferred):

  • Minimum education of a Bachelors Degree in related field.
  • Experience in teaching
  • Special Education Certification
