Location: Allendale County, SC (Commutable from Augusta and Savannah, GA)

SPED K-2 Self-Contained Teacher (Elementary School)

In this role, you will plan and deliver high-quality instruction, assess student progress, foster a positive classroom culture, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement. Successful candidates are enthusiastic educators who build meaningful relationships with students, maintain high expectations, and are committed to continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Monitor student progress and use data to guide instruction
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership
  • Maintain accurate student records and classroom documentation
  • Participate in professional development and school activities
  • Uphold school policies and support a safe, respectful learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina teaching certification (or a recipricating State)
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
