We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to join our Customer Mobile team.

Your role will be to build, maintain and evolve the mobile frontends related to the Products that are part of the Customer department. These products include managing customer data, notifications to the Customer and features aimed to make the shopping experience of our customers smoother.

The Customer Mobile team will be responsible for the mobile components of the Customer department. It will have the support of the mobile Platform team and will work closely with the Web team and the different backend teams of the department.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Development of the OSP Mobile iOS application
  • Contribute on ensuring that our software architecture is fit for purpose, through data-driven decision making, feedback, and collaboration with the chapter.
  • Contribute on defining and drive best practices for our customer-facing iOS platforms throughout the Stream through extensive consultation with the iOS chapter.
  • Writing and maintaining automation tests suites
  • Work collaboratively inside and outside the team to achieve business objectives

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Computer Science (or related subject) degree
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Strong programming and object-oriented design skills.
  • An iOS expert, with extensive knowledge of Swift and some exposure to Objective C.
  • Extensive experience working on published App­ Store apps.
  • Pragmatic, but with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for and understanding of automated testing.

Desirable

  • Experience with platform Modularisation.
  • Experience in maintaining shared code, including Design Systems.
  • A fanaticism for clean code!
  • An understanding and some experience of Agile software development.
  • Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
  • A mastery of git!
  • Exposure to Reactive programming paradigms.
