Spa Employee

Seafire Spa at Kimpton Seafire Resort is seeking a Spa Employee to provide genuine guest care, including reception, attendant, massage, hair, facials, waxing, and nail care. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, depending on business demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Assist guests in the locker room and relaxation room before the guest service begins, and after service ends.
• Assist guests with beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area including; cleaning the facility, locker rooms, machines and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
• Stock and replenish the facility with supplies and products, including but not limited to; clean towels, fresh water, drinking cups, etc.
• Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety and happiness.
• Conduct financial transactions as needed.
• Knowledgeable about services and products offered at the spa.
• Assist therapists by setting up for services.
• Perform general spa duties as needed.
• Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:

• A passion for customer service and excellent verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
• Previous spa experience required. Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or fitness center is preferred.
• Licensing from an accredited school as per local law requirements
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. and stand/walk up to 8 hours.
• This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary range: $11.00 USD - $13.00 USD per hour, plus graruties.
